American Eagle Studios News and Events
The second season of "Man, Moment & Machine" premiers on the History Channel Tuesday, October 17th with the "Apollo 13" episode! Roughly half of the actors appearing in the 13 shows this season came from American Eagle Casting! You can find scheduling info for upcoming episodes on the History Channel website. The series will normally air Tuesday evenings @ 10:00 pm on cable or 7:00 pm on satellite systems.

New York Festivals 48th annual international TV, Cinema & Radio Advertising Awards: Lone Wolf Documentary Group wins the Gold World Medal in the "History and Society" category for the docu-drama Conquest of America Episode #1/The Northwest and Episode #2/Northeast. Work was represented from 34 different countries totaling 1600 entries. The New York Festivals International Television Programming and Promotion Awards recognize "The World's Best Work" in news, documentary, information and entertainment programming as well as in music videos, infomercials, and promoti on spots.
Other awards received by Lone Wolf for the Northwest Episode include the Cine Golden Eagle.
Conquest of America also earned a 2005 Bronze Telly Award!
AES is responsible for casting the portion of The Northwest Episode which was filmed at the Sonoma Mission, Petaluma Adobe and Fort Ross. For more news and photos, see the September 2004 issue of our news/events page.

"The Mansion Remembers," a film depicting Jane Stanford's return to her Sacramento Mansion after the deaths of her son and husband, won a First Place (Silver) Telly Award for 2006. The Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the video and film productions. The production also won a Bronze Telly in the category of cinematography. The film, along with touchscreen kiosk programs and audio effects at Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park, was produced by James Kelty & Associates, Inc. under contract to California State Parks.
The film may be seen at the Mansion Visitor Center at 8th and N Streets in Sacramento.
