We also sent headshots and resumes from a few of the actors who had been submitted by their agents for the feature film, Spin the Bottle. Alan Draven from Stars, The Agency was also selected to be a surfer for this commercial.

Laila DeRouen is the new face for Exchange Bank Doyle Scholarships. Our friend and neighbor from the old studio on Davis Street, John Harden @ Armstrong Associates Ad Agency contacted us to find a model for their new ad campaign and, after two photo shoots, the rest is history. You can see Laila on murals at several Exchange Bank branches and she's been featured on billboards and in newspaper ads…
John's own little film, La Vie d'un Chien, has been taking all the film festivals by storm. TJ Sullivan is behind bars in this superbly done flick. Congratulations John!

High School Ripped Me a New One! By Cameron Washington, with casting by TJ Sullivan of American Eagle Studios (also associate producer), got high praise at the Black Film Festival in San Francisco and was recently screened at ArtsIndia in New York. Jim Rufini, Ryan Wade Halvorson, TJ Sullivan, Teri Kinney, Joe Senteneri, Angela Young, Christina Davlin, and other AE actors can all be seen in this fun flick. Go to the website for more info and updates: www.ripmeanewone.com

Jeff Coté did a photo shoot for Alan Campbell Photography last fall. He'll be featured on the packaging for an ant killing product soon.

Several of our actors have been cast in student films for Expressions College for Digital Arts in Emeryville, as well as returning to do sound looping. This is an excellent way to obtain valuable experience on set, to add to your "reel" and resume, to learn new techniques, and to meet up-and-coming young geniuses. AE talent to take advantage of these opportunities so far include: Donna Hunt, Bob Stave, Ryan Wade Halvorson, Roberto Sanchez, Rachel & Jeff Virzi, Charlotte Orton, Melissa Spingler, and Taj Jenkins.

London Freeman and Suzanna Elders were cast in a student film project by Milan Raggio which shot in Sonoma County a few months ago. Milan is a student in San Francisco and has recently contacted us in search of more actors for a new film she's working on.

Last but not least, SPIN THE BOTTLE! We are now putting the final pieces of the puzzle together for the main cast (principal roles). The schedule has been pushed back to sometime in October, but this is the nature of The Business!

Soon we will be contacting people to be extras. We are hoping to use people who came to the original casting call and some of the actors we've seen along the way since then, but we understand some of you may not be available, etc.

We appreciate everybody's patience and understanding and wish we could respond to you all individually. However, since March, we've seen over 400 actors/actresses for this project! We will continue posting updates when there is new information to share and ask that you all continue being patient and understanding with the process.
