In Remembrance: Timothy J, TJ, Sullivan…

On Valentine’s Day at 11:59 pm, American Eagle Studios’ founding father, passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer. In a fitting tribute, friends and family spent the past few months visiting and saying their goodbyes – all enjoying the camaraderie of being in his circle.

Personally we thank you, Tim, for your belief in our abilities. We’ve appreciated your guidance and support over the past few years, and especially the last year, as we’ve taken over the business. We know you’ll be watching over us always, cheering us on...

Aloha and thanks for everything!

TJ, What a talent! What a giving person. You shall forever reside in my memory as the wonderful man you were. I pray that you are happy in your place of rest. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet your friends, your students and for enabling me to be a small part of your remarkable life. God speed.
Love, Kathy Garver
I met Tim on the set of What Dreams May come. He told me about why he started American Eagle Studios. It was his dream, to give people of all ages a way to get their foot in the door of the entertainment business. His dream has come true for me and many many people at AES. Tim had many friends and I am proud to say I was one of them. Working with Tim and his family was fun and exciting. We were involved in many projects together and he always had a positive attitude and a good nature. We were good friends and we often said "I love you Brother" God Bless you Tim, God Bless your dear family and God Bless American Eagle Studios. His Spirit will always be with us all.....Billy West..
T.J. was a hero of a man. Had a magnificent eye for actors and was a great conservative. He and I used to talk for hours about the different sides of the political spectrum.
We met him when we attended a voice class and Wes had stood up and talked of his background and Tim came over and asked us to list Wes with his agency. We did and Wes was working. Then he included all of us and ultimately we all began working.
When he asked me to take photos and be listed with him I told him that I didn't want to because no one wants someone fat and ugly and true to his quick responses, he said "oh, not true, they do want fat and ugly. I just laughed so hard. I listed with him and then I was working on Cheaper By The Dozen. I was shocked. He was so right.
He was true to his clients and he was honorable and loyal and trustworthy.
We will all miss you, T.J. Thanks for coming into our lives and hearts. We are forever better people because of you.
For you T.J........

You took our breath away. Forever, thank you.

God bless. TJ's spirit will live on in all who came to know him. - Ryan Else
TJ was a great friend to my husband Jon and me...and a great inspiration. His mind was never idle. EVERYTHING gave him an idea. Even as I sat with him a few days before he passed, he was itching for a sketchbook to put down an idea for a mailbox for his son. It's one of the many things I loved about him. His hands were always extended in friendship. His generosity of spirit was positively legendary. This was a big, big man who touched the lives of many people. We are most grateful to count ourselves among them.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I didn't even know he had cancer. Maybe he didn't want to bother anyone. I wish he would have, I didn't have a chance to say goodbye. Thank you TJ, wherever you are,for the first words you said to me -"Ever think about being in the movies?"
Peace be with you. GOD bless you.

Thank you to a wonderful passionate acting teacher and role model. My grandson worked with you first and you taught him well. Thank you for starting your dream and enabling so many more. We will never forget you. God bless.

Tim, along with Teri Kinney, let me play the “White Rabbit” in the live show of September 2002. Tim’s kindness and eternal quest for fun and rich experiences set the tone for my warm welcome - a person who rarely has acted since a few bit parts in college. I can vividly see Tim as he welcomes each soul upon arrival and finds just the right role, the right job and place for each one.
Thanks, Tim, for sharing your loving spirit!

Wow...I had no idea. I just wanted to check on Lori and see how she's doing with the business, and this is what I found. I saw TJ just a few months before we moved to Tennessee in Feb. '05, and he looked great. I would like to send my condolences to his family. TJ was so sweet and supportive to my daughter, Jordyn, and he will not be forgotten.
